About Multiphase FIV SIG

This Special Interest Group is aimed at sharing experience and extending knowledge on the area of Multiphase Flow Induced Vibration (FIV), from subsea production systems (SPS) to land and offshore installations.

Topics of Interest:

  • Field and Lab Measurements/Datasets
  • Field Experience
  • Screening and Prediction Methods

There are usually two face to face meetings per year, one in late May/early June and one in late November/early December.

Our members share experiences openly in an informal setting; with no requirement to share slides at the end of a presentation there is limited risk of loss of IP.

Academic speakers are invited to give alternative views and an overview of research topics.
